Discover the history of Ramona Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a landmark dating back to the 1850s. Originally consisting of a few picnic grounds, a pavilion for entertainment, and boat liveries, the park soon boasted the iconic Jack Rabbit Derby Racer, a double-track roller coaster, which was a popular attraction with celebrities of the day. Despite its closure in 1946, Ramona Park is now a historical landmark open for visitors to explore and enjoy.
