OSIAH, SOCIOCLAST Among Gimme Metal's Top Tracks of the Week By Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading. OSIAH – Temporal Punishment Some flyin-in-yr-face tech deathcore maniacs persevering with grace through the shitshow that was 2020. Imagine they'd be supreme live for sure. Another feather in the cap of Unique Leader, who, by the way, host a label special on Gimme April 30th you most certainly don't wanna miss. SOCIOCLAST – Eden's Tongue Bitchin grindcore trio out of San Jose who know how to temper their stride and strangulation with equal gusto, out on Chad Gailey from Necrot's Carb...

GHASTLY – Parasites While Finland's Ghastly risk getting swept up in the river of death metal revivalists, there's something utterly nefarious about their approach to the genre. GENGHIS TRON – Dream Weapon Back after a long absence, Hamilton Jordan and Michael Sochynsky's fabled Genghis Tron returns, joined by two new members: vocalist Tony Wolski and Sumac/Baptists drummer Nick Yacyshyn. Full of crushing rhythms but overriding dreamlike vibe, the band builds upon layers of frenetic energy that elevates into a trancy state not unlike Boris with say more synths. It's dense, full of left turns and varied instrumentation, gorgeous harmonized vocals and lush...
CYNABARE URNE, MORA PROKAZA Among Gimme Metal's Top Track of the Week By Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading. CYNABARE URNE – Hidden In the Higher Light Admirable amount of songcraft to go hand in hand with these Finns' take on death metal. At times billowing slow and smoky circles, a generous nod to history envelops this dark music while still making its own stride to define something unique and drawing from many avenues. LIE IN RUINS – Earth Shall Mourn While their new Dark Descent label EP clocks in at less than half an hour, Finland's Lie in Ruins strings together all its tracks...
