Ryan Gordon Barton, 38, faced one charge when he appeared in front of a judge at Carlisle Crown Court earlier today. Barton pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm upon Adam Elliott on 4th July last year. This follows an incident at the Wheatsheaf pub, Market Place.
