An education contract that was at the center of a debate in the Arkansas legislature has been withdrawn by its vendor.
In August 2017, Solution Tree Inc., a private vendor based in Bloomington, Ind., which self-describes as "one of the leading K-12 education companies ... offer[ing] professional development, online courses, and education books for teachers," was awarded a no-bid contract for $4 million by the Arkansas Department of Education.
