A new world record was set at an online auction held by Farmers Marts Dolgellau last week, when an 11 month-old Welsh-bred sheepdog, Kim, sold for a mammoth £27,100 (€30,934). The price for Kim, including buyer’s premium, totalled £28,466 (€32,491). Sheepdog Kim was bred and trained by Dewi Jenkins and is from Caefelin Clem, sired by Graylees Dollar and is described as a smart red-and-white pricked-ear dog.
