Dateline is the ultimate cliff hanger. Into the death zone. The mountain is deadly, irresistible. Its as close as you can get to outer space. The glory of standing at the highest point on earth. Over the years, hundreds of them havent made it back. The thing about dying on everest, its about giving up and sort of floating off. Yet, that doesnt stop the throngs from coming every spring. It looks like people are lining up to go to a rock concert except they are all climbing 25,000 feet, inches away from death. So it was one day last year, the people you are about to meet went into the death zone...
