Brightest star makes its way into our evening sky this week Pam Eastlick Greetings everyone and Happy New Year! You can still see four of the five visible planets this week. Venus is in your early morning sky although it’s getting closer and closer to the eastern horizon. Mars is almost straight overhead in the evening sky and Jupiter is beginning its long slow pull away from Saturn in the southwestern horizon. We will circle to the other side of the sun from both planets next month so have a look this week. Now turn around and face east and you’ll see Orion the Hunter.
