The connections of Jujubee, the 2021 Breeders Crown three-year-old colt trotting champion and Dan Patch Trotter of the Year, have announced that the stallion has been retired and will stand at stud in 2024.

The now five-year-old will return to The Meadowlands, site of two of his greatest victories, to compete with eight talented older trotters in the $278,000 John Cashman Memorial Open Trot on Hambletonian Day, Aug. 5.

Passed by a rival entering the final turn, Skyline Seashell dug deep, reasserted in the lane and broke her maiden in Friday’s Arden Downs Grand Circuit stakes at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Insider Trading captured the other division in the event for freshman filly trotters known as the Edward M. Ryan.
As much that went right for Jujubee in 2021, is as much that has gone wrong for the four-year-old trotting stallion in 2022.
