Two unidentified women allegedly kidnapped 14-day-old twin boys Montana and Matthew Bridges from Livonia early Monday morning.
An Amber Alert was issued for two 14-day-old babies on Monday when their mother left them with “friendly acquaintances” at a Livonia hotel and came back to find them missing, police said.
Twins Matthew Jace and Montana Alexander Bridges were taken by two women, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
For almost 12 hours, no one knew where the 2-week-old twin boys were after they were taken from Livonia. Then Monday morning, someone turned them over at Detroit Police Department's 9th precinct on the city's east side
Police have not released the identifies of the two Detroit officers found dead in a Livonia apartment Sunday afternoon. Their deaths are believed to be a result of a murder-suicide.
