Allstar adds Plug-N-Go to EV charging network

Allstar Business Solutions has partnered with Plug-N-Go, adding 18 sites to the Allstar One Electric network. 
With the addition of Plug-N-Go’s sites, Allstar now enables fleet drivers to recharge their EVs at over 1,700 sites across the UK.
Allstar says the partnership with Plug-N-Go is the latest in a string of strategic deals that are helping the company work towards its goal of creating an EV charging network that is equivalent to its traditional fuelling points.
Paul Holland, managing director of UK Fuel at Fleetcor UK, said: “Our partnership with Plug-N-Go significantly strengthens the availability of EV charging for businesses across the UK, something that is key to the success of transitioning fleets over from traditional fuel types.

Allstar adds new charge points to EV network

Allstar Business Solutions Limited has agreed a new partnership with Gronn Kontakt, an electric vehicle (EV) charging company owned by Statkraft – Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy.
The deal means that Allstar adds a further 47 charging sites and 110 charge points to the multi-branded Allstar One Electric network.
Paul Holland, managing director of UK Fuel at Fleetcor UK, said: “Clearly there has been some fantastic momentum gained in the electric vehicle movement in recent times.
“By partnering with Gronn Kontakt, we are helping UK fleets to make the switch to EV seamless, with increased convenience for charging sites as well as reducing range anxiety as we add more charging points to our growing network.”

Allstar adds 110 EV chargers to network with Gronn Kontakt partnership

Fuel card firm Allstar has expanded its EV charging network through a new partnership with charging company Gronn Kontakt.
The deal means 110 chargers, across 47 sites, are added to Allstar's One Electric network, which now comprises more than 3,700 chargers across more than 1,500 locations.
Gronn Kontakt is the eighth addition to Allstar's multi-brand network.
Allstar says its expanding network will support increased fleet electrification, with its own customer research showing 30% of its customers already have EVs in place, with a further 65% of businesses planning to add EVs to their fleets over the next three years.

Electric car charge points to be installed in West Bay and Lyme Regis


TWO new electric vehicle car charging points are set to be installed in west Dorset.
From February next year, owners of electric cars and vans will be able to charge their vehicles at charge points in West Bay and Lyme Regis.
Dorset Council has announced there will be 44 new electric vehicle chargepoints across 18 council-owned car parks as part of its pledge to become carbon-neutral by 2040.
The charging points will be located in West Bay Road car back and Holmbush car park. They will be 22kw chargers and will use 100 per cent renewable energy supplied by Statkraft, a hydropower company.
Councillor Ray Bryan, Dorset Council portfolio holder for highways, travel and environment, said: "Providing drivers with more chargepoints for their electric vehicles is an exciting step towards our commitment to becoming carbon-neutral.

MORE than 40 new electric vehicle chargepoints are coming to Dorset as part of the council's commitment to become carbon-neutral by 2050.
Dorset Council has announced there will be 44 new electric vehicle chargepoints in 18 council-owned car parks which will be ready to use from February 2021.
The 22kw chargepoints, using 100 per cent renewable energy supplied by Statkraft, a hydropower company, will enable drivers to charge their electric vehicles while visiting the county.
The chargepoints are well suited to town centre car parks for drivers who want a quick 'top up', although vehicles can be fully charged which will take between two and four hours.
