Henderson State University has received a $761,200 grant to help train more nurses and enhance the quality of its nursing program.
A legislative panel on Tuesday endorsed the state Department of Commerce's request for $25 million in federal American Rescue Plan funds to help educate more nurses in Arkansas, and the state Department of Human Services' request for a total of $16.3 million in federal American Rescue Plan funds to provide emergency assistance to four hospitals.
