Though he was here only a short time. The Memorial Service for Kevin Sutherland was closed to cameras tonight, but even after it was over, the emotional gravity of that service was plain to see. Sutherlands father traveled from connecticut to eulogize his son crying several times as he tried to get through his brief speech. Kevin had been heavily involved in government here, student government. Friends and colleagues from the school also spoke about what they hoped would be a legacy of service that he might leave behind. Sutherland was the first of two recent au grads to be killed during d.
