Katherine Bateson's 2010 WEG Team Horse Nartan Passed Away Wed, 12/30/2020 - 15:01 U.S.A. Nartan, the Dutch warmblood gelding that took American dressage rider Katherine Bateson-Chandler to the 2010 World Equestrian Games, has passed away on 29 December 2020. He was 25 years old. Nartan was a 1995 born KWPN gelding by Jazz out of Tanja (by Le Faquin). He was bred by W. van Looveren. Haazen's Small Tour Champion Nartan was trained from novice level to Grand Prix by the petite Dutch rider Jeannette Haazen.
