McDonough District Hospital has announced a new clinic in the Maple City starting early next month. In an effort to better serve patients that are located in the Monmouth area, the new clinic will be located at 2 AmericInn Way, Suite B, a location that once housed the Cottage Hospital Monmouth Clinic and will operate Monday through Friday. "Opening a clinic in Monmouth is a convenience for our patients, saving them time and money on travel expenses," said MDH President and Chief Executive Officer Brian E. Dietz, FACHE. "There is no MDH clinic north of Macomb and Bushnell, and currently we have more than 1,000 patients from the Monmouth area seeking medical services at MDH. That forces those patients, especially those living in Warren, Knox, and Fulton County, to drive to one of our two McDonough County locations for their specialty care or primary care needs."
