Four employers in Livingston County were cited for workplace safety violations related to COVID-19 protocols, according to state workplace safety officials.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration recently launched an online dashboard of COVID-19 related violations issued to Michigan businesses, which can be viewed at Michigan.gov/MIOSHACOVIDCitations
As of Friday morning, MIOSHA reported 171 employers in the state had been cited, many of them fined, for failing to comply. The dashboard is updated at around 3 p.m. on Fridays.
In the county, the largest fine related to COVID-19 protocols was issued to Hair Mechanix of Brighton, a barber shop and salon for men located in the Green Oak Village Place Mall in Green Oak Township.
