KETCHIKAN (KDN) — The annual tribal election for the Organized Village of Saxman, Saxman I.R.A. Council occurred April 22 at the Saxman I.R.A. Council Tribal Office at  2706 S. Tongass Hwy. “OVS is pleased to announce the following persons were elected (or re-elected) to the seven-member Council: President — Joe Williams Jr., Carrie Wallace, Nora Dewitt, Albert White, Christa Thomas, Joyce Makua and Trudi R. Born Oct. 27, 1941 in North Noel Road, Albert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Paulette; his children, Charlie (Elizabeth), Annette (Ian), and Ross (Glenda); several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his sisters, Mary Lou and Kathy.
