Washington County Fair opens this week in first April iteration
The Washington County Fair is this week, marking the first iteration of the event to happen in April after decades of having been run in the summer. County officials moved the fair to its new spring timeslot earlier this year, citing community surveys that suggested residents felt the August heat was too much to take.
