TRIBUTES have been paid to a “true gentleman” doorman and former teacher who has died. Nearly £5,000 has been raised in the days following the death of Heath Jeffries to “give a little smile” to his three daughters and new-born grandson over the Christmas period. Mr Jeffries, in his 50s, worked at Ysgol Eirias in Colwyn Bay and as a doorman at bars and clubs in Llandudno including Club 147, the Washington Hotel and Broadway Boulevard.
