Hammered last december. When the city received nearly a foot of rain in a matter of hours. The december downpour left downtown hillsburg looking more like a lake. It was just it was like nothing weve ever seen. It just happen so quickly. There were people kayaking in the streets. Thats how much water was trapped downtown.
