Alex Kingston has written a Doctor Who novel based on her character River Song. The 57-year-old actress – who played the companion and eventual wife of The Doctor in the iconic BBC sci-fi series from 2008 to 2015 – has penned The Ruby s Curse , which will see her alter ego join forces with her own literary creation Melody Malone.
