Every day, 15 million kids leave school with no place to go, putting them at risk of being unsupervised, unguided and unsafe.
As a leading advocate for youth, the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster is committed to ensuring that every child has access to a safe place after school and during the summer where they can build the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to put them on the path to a Great Future.
The Great Futures 5K is the Boys & Girls Club’s Signature Event, its only annual fundraiser. This year is the 12th annual event. The race is becoming one of the best attended road races in the North Central Massachusetts region, with all proceeds going to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster. Rather than cancel the event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, for the second straight year the race is going virtual.
