One of the students and i talked about just graduated from william and Mary Law School in the last month and thus became the first dreamer to be a Law School Graduate in virginia. In one of the few dreamers who have obtained a law the United States. I talked about her story but today i decided not to talk about stories of individuals but to put it in context with the message really being the time to make a decision is now. We do not need more information. We just need the will to act and do what i think is the right and fair thing to do. Because we have been at this discussion now, it is hard to believe weve been at this discussion for 16 years. Congressal chaos happening now. Submitting the resignation and the exit strategy is causing controversy. As we begin severe storms head our way and storms causing major problems in the midwest. Right now severe storms in the chicago area and viewer pictures with funnel clouds and flooded roads as well. This is all from a line of storms thats headed our way. Those details public yet. Police have said the shooting wasnt a incident. Witnesses who heard the gunfire last night found perkins body in the parking lot and started cpr. Several said the wounded man, who was shot in the leg, limped from behind some buildings as police arrived. Police have not identified him yet for his own safety. Some witnesses also believed they saw a vehicle leaving the scene but police say there are conflicting descriptions. We do know the shooter got into a vehicle. We dont have a confirmed description of that vehicle also the vehicle was occupied by at least two other subjects and possibly even a fourth person involved. Scene of another parking lot shooting incident last september. In that case, as many as 17 shots were fired striking a vehicle and several Cedar Rapids Police say this was the first homicide of 2016.
