Developers and city officials are talking about reducing the density of housing and other changes that could restart construction.
"This is the 10th year that St. Paul was included in the ranking, and it's been a 10-year battle for those top positions," said the state director for the Trust for Public Land.
"It's not the Xcel Energy Center," said one university official.
To be eligible for these dollars, real estate construction must be underway by December 2025.
Bicyclists will have an easier time navigating St. Paul in the future. This new reality comes on the heels of a move Wednesday night by the St. Paul City Council where members voted to build over 100 miles of new lanes and trails over the next 15 years. It’s a sweeping update since the city adopted its bike proposal in 2015.
