MOUNTAIN LAKES - The grades K-8 Long Hill school district has hired former Mountain Lakes School District Superintendent Anne Mucci effective Jan. 1.
The grades K-8 Board of Education voted unanimously to hire Mucci as superintendent at a virtual meeting Monday evening, Dec. 14.
Mucci, a former superintendent in the grades K-12 district in Mountain Lakes, will earn an annual base salary of $170,000. The contract runs through June 30, 2024.
“Dr. Mucci has a wealth of experience in educational leadership, operations management, and community engagement,” Long Hill Township Board President Marta Moakley said in a statement issued by the board shortly after the meeting. “Above all, she prioritizes student achievement. I have every confidence that, as a strategic thinker and problem solver, she will lead the Long Hill Township School District during these challenging times in education, as we navigate the realities of the pandemic.” ....
