'Modi job do' hashtag
'Modi_job_do' hashtag has become the global hashtag used by students and educated but unemployed people in India. They are demanding fair and timely job recruitment process, timely exam and results, increase vacancies and reform in exams. To the surprise, this hashtag is trending at No.1 on Twitter. The rising of unemployment crisis of the country is reflected through this hashtag.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit India, we were already passing through the highest unemployment of last 45 years. Again the pandemic took the nation in a very difficult situation with private companies laying off employees, labourers left with no work and government delaying recruitment processes for various departments. Only 400 million people are employed after the pandemic. As the election proceeds, the political members are busy in campaigning on the one hand, and on the other, the unemployed members of the country are feeling helpless and frustrated. This is a long term problem of the country and can be termed as a 'Traditional Problem'. But, this time the unemployment rate has crossed all the limits.

GUWAHATI: The Anti-Corruption Youth-Power, Assam (ACYPA) has questioned as to why the Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) has been extended for another six-month term in Assam at a time when most of the insurgent groups have laid down arms and the State government is claiming that the situation in the State is peaceful.
Addressing the media here on Saturday, ACYPA president Dharmakanta Gogoi said, "The State government had been in deep slumber over the last four years. It woke up all of a sudden and started the process of appointments in various departments, but in most of the cases their moves remain in advertisements with the poll code of conduct enforced in the State. This government is led by a party that promised to give jobs to two lakh candidates per year. However, it has failed to provide jobs to even 50,000 youths in five years, let alone ten lakh as promised. The government has failed utterly in providing jobs to jobless people.

Patiala, Feb 25 : Assam's sprint prodigy Hima Das won the women's 200m race while Odisha's Dutee Chand dominated 100m in the second leg of the Indian Grand Prix meet at Patiala's National Institute of Sports here on Thursday.
Hima's winning time of 23.31 seconds in her first race after a long layoff due to back injury could be seen as good performance, but it fell short of Tokyo Olympic qualification time of 22.80 seconds.
Hima, the 21-year-old 2018 world junior 400m champion and national record holder of 50.79 seconds, hasn't done well over the one-lap race since April 2019 due to lower back pain. She has now switched to shorter sprints -- 100m and 200m. She is also one of the key runners in the national women's 4x100m relay team.
