A new release featuring the musical talents of University of Kentucky students in UK Mega-Sax has dropped. “Stink, Stank, FUNK! — 4.0,” features 10 rousing arrangements with raucous performances in the group’s signature style.
The spotlight continues to shine on the University of Kentucky jazz program. After the recent recognition of Miles Osland, director of UK Jazz Studies, with a DownBeat Lifetime Achievement Award, UK Jazz Ensemble and Mega-Sax have accepted an invitation to perform at The Jazz Education Network Conference running Jan. 4-7, in Orlando, Florida.
