Submitting... She later worked as a machinist at Robinson and Sons Ltd and was a fire watcher during the Second World War. After the end of the war, she married Harry Goodwin, on December 8, 1945, with whom she had a daughter. Marjorie, who turned 100 on December 21, was born in Sheffield and grew up in Holmewood with her sister, Hilda. She worked in one of the town’s factories, including during the Second World War, and later got a job as an outdoor work manager. She married Ernest in 1938, before he joined the Navy during the war, and the couple had a son, Robert.
