ESF Announces Graduation Weekend Schedule Two ceremonies to take place at St. Joseph s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview 5/11/2021 The College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) will confer approximately 421 degrees during two Commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 15, at the St. Joseph s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, Syracuse. The morning ceremony, beginning at 10 a.m., will be for students graduating from the departments of Environmental Resources Engineering, Environmental Studies, Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Resources Management, and the Open Academy. The afternoon ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. for students graduating from the departments of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Biology, and Environmental Science. During the ceremony, ESF will confer approximately 375 bachelor s degrees, with about 46 students receiving master s and doctoral degrees. ....
Cleveland State Announces Commencement Speakers Friday, April 30, 2021 Rebecca Phanor Cleveland State Community College has chosen students Samary Holguin and Rebeccah Phanor as keynote speakers for the Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremonies. Approximately 400 degrees and certificates will be awarded during two graduation ceremonies. The first will be held on Friday, May 7, at 5:30 p.m., and the second will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m. Both ceremonies will be held in the L. Quentin Lane Center.
“To enable our face-to-face graduation ceremonies we needed to control our overall attendance,” said Dr. Bill Seymour, CSCC president. “Rather than inviting outside speakers, we decided to utilize members of the graduating class. So, it made sense to go with two of our most outstanding students.” ....
