storm is almost over. there's people in mississippi without power. we have issues with people losing power but that's going to slow down, too. the highest winds on the map are 30 to 35 mile per hour range. so the winds have come down, up around jackson, mississippi up to meridian, isolated power outages at worst. we have to watch, the potential for isolated tornados. the highest wind gusts we saw, in most of the locations, down towards the coast, that's where the landfall was. that's extreme, the 172 mile per hour gust was a shift tied to the coastline around the port. so that damage should be incredible to see. that's a very strong tornado went through that area. new orleans' highest wind gust was 87 miles per hour. we have to worry about tornados from pensacola, beloxi, mobile.
