Palatable? of course it is. medicare spending is going to have to be decreased. they need a fixed percentage and say, we ll grow at this rate over the next 30 years. now let s bring the medical community together and ask doctors and hospitals and nurses and insurance companies how can we do it? and you ll hear about death panels all over again. you will. it s going to be harder for republicans. you heard paul ryan say the president has a lot of tax increases in there, they ll have to find more debt reduction without with tax cuts or no tax increases. that s really hard. the most troubling thing about what the republicans are doing right now, they re going to 12% of the budget and they re slashing and cutting in areas where we don t need to slash and cut. mitch mcconnell can talk about windmills and trains. guess what. that s investment in the future. i m still waiting for him to come on the show. the chinese are laughing at us. absolutely. ....
you ve got tons of people involved in the process now, different motivations, different rational motivations. you ve got a president who is not afraid of losing reelection over entitlement reforms. who told you that? i can tell you he s not. oh, come on. if you made statements like this you need sources and we re calling you out right now. he s not afraid of losing over it. that s not true. that is not true. if there s a deal to be done with republicans the president is scared okay. stop the broadcast for a second here. there s something completely wrong here. stop the broadcast. one at a time. if there s a deal an entitlements, it will have to be with house republicans on board. there s no political danger to the president if he s passed it with house republicans because he s not vulnerable on the left. you have marco rubio and house freshmen who want a deal, and all the people saying that the president punted. they are committed to cutting the budget ....
