East Houston rapper A.B. Raps studied rappers, wrote rhymes that improved on what they did and found a flow that reminded listeners of underground heroes like Watsky and mainstream legends like that guy who put mom's spaghetti on a sweater. But the 30 year-old Houstonian proves he's doing his own, unique thing on Trillmatic, his recent album. A.B. told the Houston Press about his past, present and thrilling future with three songs from the album.
