Donald trump, or some other lawyer or aide who was acting for him. so, judgment is going to follow that along. and that is a classic thing to do. and for crime fraud to apply, which is a way to pierce through attorney-client privilege meaning that communications between a client and a lawyer are usually sacrosanct but not if a client is using it to commit a crime. it is not necessary to show crime fraud that the lawyer is participating. of course, the lawyer could be participating but the government does not have to share that. and judge howell, who is deciding this, has ruled on this exact issue in a special counsel, a mueller case, where we litigated this, where we said paul manafort had made false statements to the department, but he made them through his lawyer. his lawyer had submitted a letter, and then another letter, and those letters contained what we thought were falsehoods. we were able to ....
