Ruth “Teeny” JoAnn (Jacovetty) Hugus, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021. She was born April 10, 1936, in Wheeling, WV to the late Mildred Radulovich and the late Charles Jacovetty. She was married to her loving husband and comedic sidekick, Eugene Hugus, for 63 beautiful years. 18-year-old Princeton, Indiana, resident Isaiah B. Speedy was arrested early this morning on an initial charge of possession of cannabis. Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving the wrong way on West Main Street and found roughly seven pounds of suspected cannabis, and Speedy and a juvenile were taken into custody. The juvenile was released to a relative, and Speedy was held in the Wayne County Jail, pending a bond hearing. Three injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident north of Orchardville last week.
