Rookie Jared Jones pitched six shutout innings and Jack Suwinski homered after being called up from the minor leagues as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 1-0 on Tuesday night. Jones (4-5) allowed three hits to the NL West-leading Dodgers while striking out six and walking three. It was a thrill for Jones to face the Dodgers because he grew up a fan in La Mirada, California.

One decent starter and several streamable hitters.

Tons of hitting, no pitching.

Brett Wisely smacked a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the eighth to cap a five-run inning, lifting the San Francisco Giants to a wild 7-6 victory over the host Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday afternoon.
