Nebraska 911 outage caused by cut fiber cord in Missouri
The federal government will investigate a 911 outage that impacted Nebraska and several other states. The telecommunication company Lumen said a third-party contractor cut a fiber line while installing a light pole in Missouri, causing the outage.
