Police have asked for the public s help in identifying a man who was found dead in the Waikato River.
Hamilton City Area commander inspector Andrea McBeth said the man s body was recovered from the river on January 27.

Police were notified by members of the public who located the man s body between the Cobham and Anzac Bridges, she said.
A number of inquiries have been made in the hope of identifying the man, including a review of the current local missing persons who have been reported to police. We are now seeking assistance from members of the public. ....

MADRID (Reuters) - Wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa on Friday said U.S. President Joe Biden s promise to tackle climate change had boosted the industry s prospects, identifying more openings for itself in an American market transformed by his election.
Prior to Biden s victory, the United States was expected to add about 10 gigawatt of onshore wind power every year, the company s Chief Executive Andreas Nauen said.
That situation had clearly changed , he added, forecasting opportunities despite a pledge by Biden to buy American-made goods.
The company also said it expected more orders to start coming in to its offshore wind business - a sector it leads but a relatively new one for the United States - after it received none in its first quarter to December. ....
