Vigil held for black activist fighting for her life after gun attack
CAMPAIGNERS held a vigil today for black rights activist Sasha Johnson, who was in critical condition after being shot in the head. A crowd gathered around the bandstand in Ruskin Park, Denmark Hill, south London, to show solidarity with Ms Johnson close to the hospital where she is being treated. Ms Johnson was shot in nearby Peckham at about 3am on Sunday while standing in a garden at a house party.
