Kentucky team seeks federal designation for metals and advanced manufacturing tech hub
The U.S. Economic Development Association Regional Technology and Innovation Hub Program was enacted as part of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 to establish 20 federally designated centers of innovation across the country. It's launching with $500 million in appropriated funding in 2023 with $10 billion authorized over five years.
