According to a news release, on Friday, March 25th, at 7:42 AM, Henderson County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on IL Rt. 164 at Township Road 1450E in the Township of Oquawka, east of Oquawka. 42 year old Michael R. Russell of Oquawka, IL, was travelling westbound on IL Rt. 164, near Township Road 1450E. Russell lost control of his vehicle and struck the rear passenger side tire of a West Central School Bus. Three people were transported to an area hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Warren County. According to the Illinois State Police at around 11:25 on Friday night, a 2005 Chevrolet Truck driven by 34-year-old Jeremy Cassidy of Monmouth was traveling east along 180th Avenue, near the 120th Street intersection. Police say that the driver lost control and entered the eastbound ditch where the vehicle overturned. Police say that all three suffered serious injuries in the crash. Stronghurst, Ill.- One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Henderson County. According to Illinois State Police, at abot 9:40 PM Sunday, January 16th, a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Quinn R. Leath of Stronghurst was traveling westbound on 800 North approximately ½ a mile west of Elizabeth Street in Stronghurst. Leath drove off the north side of 800 North, striking a telephone pole before running down a ditch embankment and overturning.
