JAKARTA - Kasus positif Covid-19 di Tanah Air kembali bertambah, tercatat pada Selasa 15 Juni 2021 bertambah 8.161 kasus. Sehingga akumulasi positif Covid-19 saat ini lebih dari 1,9 juta kasus atau sebanyak 1.927.723 kasus.
Dan untuk sebaran penambahan kasus Covid-19 di 34 provinsi per 15 Juni 2021, Jawa Barat menduduki peringkat atas sebanyak 1.793 kasus, lalu Jawa Tengah sebanyak 1.658 kasus, dan DKI Jakarta peringkat ketiga sebanyak 1.502. Sebelumnya, pada Senin 14 Juni 2021, Jakarta menjadi penyumbang terbanyak mencapai 2.722 kasus.
Atas dasar tersebut, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memanggil Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) DKI Jakarta di Istana Negara. Pertemuan tersebut guna membahas penanganan Covid-19 di Ibu Kota, Selasa 15 Juni 2021.

Berikut sejumlah fakta pemanggilan Forkopimda DKI yang terdiri dari Gubernur DKI Anies Baswedan, Ketua DPRD DKI Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Fadil Imran, Pangdam Jaya Mayjen TNI Mulyo Aji, beserta kapolres se-Ibu Kota.
