Senator donnellys question about your concern about count fitted parts. And i believe you said that you do have a concern about that. I just wanted to ask you one question though. You do have a concern about counterfeit parts. I i heard that correctly. Yes. I was wondering if you are aware of any technological product that can be embedded in parts to ensure it is not a counterfeit part. Senator im not aware of any specific chip or whatever that you can embed in it. What i am aware of is that our Quality Control folks at places like crane indiana that the senator was talking about are exception...

Repeated budget cuts have tested blms ability to keep up with industry demand for new permits and to enforce safety and environmental standards. Thats why the president s budget calls on congress to support a strong on shore inspection program, partly funded through fees. This proposal takes a page from the offshore Energy Industry where industry pays fees for permits and inspections. Which means we can keep pace with the work load, and we dont have to divert funds from other programs to support permitting, leasing or inspection activities. Its not dramatic, but it is there. So the asia pacific wont take a hit from the sequestration and our european presence will not take a hit from sequestration. Those will take place elsewhere . Those forces forward wont be as dramatic. As you k...

The forests. Over the last few years, we have prioritized the readiness of our forces. These are the forces you can count on for an immediate response. These are the forces that help the evacuations of americans and south sudan, yemen. These forces train the iraqi army and protect our embassy in baghdad. These are the marines in the pacific. I can assure you that your deployed marines are well trained, well bred, and wellequipped. We have had to make tough choices to face sequestration and reduce budgets. In order to maintain the readiness of our deployed forces, we have not sufficiently inves...
