MUMBAI (Reuters) - Warburg Pincus-backed Kalyan Jewellers said it aimed to raise 11.75 billion rupees ($161 million) to use as working capital through an initial public offering (IPO) next week.
Kalyan, leader of a domestic market that also includes Titan, Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri Ltd. and regional players, opened its first showroom in the southern state of Kerala in 1993 and now has 107 showrooms in India and 30 stores in the Middle East.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares of up to 8 billion rupees and an offer for sale of shares worth 3.75 billion by promoters and existing shareholders, the company said in a statement. ....

Treasuries Turn Positive After Seeing Initial Weakness
WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - After initially showing a modest move to the downside, treasuries turned higher over the course of the trading day on Wednesday.
Bond prices recovered from their early lows and climbed firmly into positive territory as the day progressed. Subsequently, the yield on the benchmark ten-year note, which moves opposite of its price, fell by 2.6 basis points to 1.520 percent.
With the decrease on the day, the ten-year yield continued to give back ground after ending Monday s trading at its highest closing level in over a year.
The rebound by treasuries came following the release of a Labor Department report showing tame consumer price inflation in the month of February. ....
