Spouses usually cannot be compelled to testify against one another in court, but as divorce attorney Ken Jewell of Jewell Law, PLLC tells Inside Edition, there are some exceptions.
"It is anticipated this evidence may be offered by way of cross-examination of witnesses produced by the State as well as calling expert witnesses," writes Bryan Kohberger's attorney in a new court filing.
"This is all still a whirlwind. Her and her children’s lives have been completely turned upside-down," says Asa Ellerup's lawyer, Robert A. Macedonio.
Inside Edition Digital has reached out to the Texas Department of Safety for comment and has not heard back.
The impact caused the aircraft’s left wing to break in half, and both the pilot and passenger were transported to the local hospital. Soon after, a medical helicopter flew the pilot to a Boston hospital in serious life-threatening condition.
