The European radio telescope NOEMA reaches full power

The NOEMA radio telescope, located on the Plateau de Bure in the French Alps, has now reached its full capacity, becoming the most powerful millimetre radio telescope in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the product of a collaboration between the CNRS, the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (MPG, Germany) and the Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN, Spain).
