New Leaf Technologies recently hosted the second instalment of their eLearning Indaba for 2021. The hour-and-a-half long Zoom session saw over 500 human resources (HR) and learning and development (L&D) professionals register to gain valuable insights into key trends shaping online learning.
The eLearning market has grown a whopping 900% since 2000 and a study conducted by IBM indicated that the eLearning industry has helped businesses see a ROI of 1:30 in productivity. The same study also noted that participants learned nearly five times more material without increasing their time spent in training. Instructional Designer Consultant

Background:
Training Programs in Epidemiology & Public Health Interventions Network (TEPHINET), in collaboration with CDC, is seeking a full-time Instructional Designer Consultant to serve as a technical expert to design and create public health emergency response hybrid courses (computer-based and in-person). These hybrid courses will complement current Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) training curricula geared towards current fellows (Intermediate/Advanced tier) which supplements alumni continuing education using innovative technology and learning solutions. Addressing this gap in field epidemiology training across the FETP network represents the greatest opportunity to strengthen national public health and humanitarian emergency response capacity across the network.
