Servier announced today updated results from the exploratory phase II TASCO1 study evaluating LONSURF
(trifluridine/tipiracil) bevacizumab and capecitabine bevacizumab (C-B) in a first-line setting for patients with unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) who are non-eligible for intensive therapy.
1 The data were announced today during an oral presentation at the 2021 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium (ASCO-GI). Patients with mCRC who are not eligible for chemotherapy face a large unmet need, with fewer treatment options available to them and lower survival rates.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) makes up 9.7% of total global cancer cases, with almost 1.4 million new cases of CRC each year.
2 In Europe, CRC is the second most common cause of death due to cancer, and those with a metastatic disease have a 5-year survival rate of just 11%. ....

Drunk man lands in intensive care unit after his 378-foot dive into a water dam in Argentina


The shocking incident took place Wednesday morning in San Rafael, Mendoza 
Olivera was with his girlfriend when he made the 378-foot jump
He suffered chest and abdominal injuries and was listed in stable condition 
This is the shocking moment a drunk man jumped off the ledge of a 378-foot tall water dam in Argentina.
Video footage recorded by a bystander at the Valle Grande dam in San Rafael, Mendoza, shows Fabían Olivera standing on top of the barrier’s ledge on Wednesday morning.

Thing to put out there. i do not dispute the right to say that. i do not dispute that they are thoughtful about this, i just disagree. i think that i am more worried about what we are facing overseas right now, especially with i think the crushing of the islamic states, and the movement of foreign fighters, and remember that they have training camps that were set up to export to terrorism, so i am concerned about the here and now. i understand their concern, but i also understand that we have to prevent people from moving here to the united states. we have here had 90 or nearly 90 attacks since 9/11, the last two years have been the most intensive. and i am worried that that could only get worst based on what we have seen in europe in places like france and germany. so i think what the president is doing makes sense to me. 90 days, 120 days seems very reasonable. jenna: good to have your perspective on that. lots of different opinions, we are always looking forward to ....
