Just last year, in 2013, San Francisco benefited from a record of 16. 9 million visitors who spent over 9. 4 billion dollars in our city on tourismrelated activity and we only expect that number to continue to grow in the coming years. Hotel tax revenue is up, 8. 1 percent, to 607 Million Dollars and tourism jobs have increased to 3. 8 which is a total of 76,834 jobs. Wanted to think about the out reach to more diverse job applicants and we worked to kick off a job fair in the day view and the plaza and we are continuing to do these out reaches throughout the city and but this is just one of many ideas that i know have been discussed and we need to do more and we look forward to the conversation that we have.
