Classical musicians review AirPods Max

Sometimes forgotten in consumer headphone reviews are the folks that make music to be heard through them. We've asked three professional musicians for their impressions of the AirPods Max as they listen to their favorite classical works. Reviews of Apple's AirPods Max headphones have been largely positive, both from audiophiles and tech reviewers alike. While their sound and noise cancellation features rank high among headphones in their price range, we wanted to investigate if orchestral musicians would confirm their quality. New patent lawsuit targets Apple A-series, M-series chips

Apple has been hit with a lawsuit claiming that its Apple Silicon iPhone and Mac chips infringe on patents owned by non-practicing entity Future Link Systems, LLC. The complaint, lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, alleges that Apple A-series and M-series chips directly infringe on claims in four patents focused on "improvements in electronic circuitry." "Despite the difficult environment, our business leaders are meeting partners overseas to solve these problems. It's hard to say the shortage issue has been solved 100%." Samsung is not just dealing with supply issues in Taiwan and China. Its Austin, Texas chip fabrication facility has still not return...

That's probably a bad sign for the $550 AirPods Max — here's why. Apple officially announced last Friday evening East coast time that it was discontinuing the original HomePod, and will instead focus on the HomePod mini. The timing of that announcement was no coincidence — late on a Friday is when companies typically dump news they are somewhat embarrassed about, hoping that ...

Anthony Boyle joins cast of 'Band of Brothers' sequel on Apple TV+

Apple TV has added Anthony Boyle to co-star in the upcoming mini-series "Masters of the Air," a sequel to HBO's award-winning "Band of Brothers." Boyle will reportedly play the lead role of Major Crosby. The actor previously appeared in HBO's "Plot Against America," the biopic "Tolkien," and the Apple TV+ series "Tetris." Based on Donald L. Miller's nonfiction title "Masters of the Air: America's Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany", the limited-run series will follow the true story of the young men who flew the bombers that helped bring Nazi Germany to its knees.
