Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé cross-country team has chosen their top 14 harriers, seven girls and seven boys, to challenge for the Region V Championships at Ketchikan, Saturday, and extend their title streak to, respectively, eight in a row for girls - 41 of the past 44 region championships - and 32 in a row for boys - 45 of 48.

At Gulfshore on Longboat Key, a group of women decided that everyone needed a little Christmas, so they hauled out the holly, turned on the brightest string of lights and decked the halls again now for a neighborhood-wide effort of lights, decorations and tributes for the holidays.
