ABC's primetime drama 'For Life' takes stock of real-life events for 2021 shows
A man sentenced to prison for a crime he didn't commit studied to become a lawyer while in prison and helped secure his own freedom, and Isaac Wright Jr.'s real life-story is the inspiration for the ABC drama "For Life." This season, the central character is navigating the times in which we live, after a summer of discontent in the year of COVID. And it rises to the moment. "It just lined up for us to offer the show that was conceptually the right show at the right time," executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson said.
